As a consultant, this person would be capable of assessing existing structures for pre-purchase, forensic, repair, or adaptive reuse purposes. The ability to prepare written reports for technical and non-technical clients in a clear and concise manner is important in this capacity.
Characteristics Required: College graduate with minimum 5 year’s experience (EIT and some project management experience preferred). Any construction experience is a plus. As a small consulting company, our employees have a good deal of autonomy. We therefore value maturity, integrity, honesty and self motivation. As a service business, we value employees that desire to help our clients solve problems. Because the position requires a good deal of interaction with clients, good written and oral communications skills are necessary. Our hope would be that the person that fills this position is interested in the variety that comes with being in general structural practice, and in growing in capability and experience with the firm over time.
