Focused Job Duties:
Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in civil or mechanical engineering. Must obtain an Arizona P.E. within one (1) year from date of hire. Five (5) years of transportation experience is required. OR: an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Special Requirements: Possession of a valid P.E. license and valid Arizona driver's license. Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) license is preferred. Physical Demands / Work Environment: Requires the mobility to stand, stoop, reach and bend; mobility of arms to reach and dexterity of hands to grasp and manipulate small objects. Perform lifting, pushing and/or pulling which does not exceed 50 pounds and is an infrequent aspect of the job. May be required to use personal vehicle in the course of employment. Required to attend periodic evening meetings and/or to travel within and out of City boundaries to attend meetings.
