The Signal System Engineer is responsible for applying professional traffic engineering skills and knowledge to the development and implementation of signal timing plans, evaluating new signal or signal modification requests, evaluating signalized intersection operational and safety deficiencies, designing potential improvements, and related traffic engineering activities. Engineer is responsible for project management and coordination which involves organizing and scheduling of multiple tasks and complex design elements, with a minimum amount of supervision from a senior engineer.
