Overview / Responsibilities Amec Foster Wheeler is currently seeking a full-time Senior-Level Landscape Architect/Planner to join our Planning and Landscape Architecture group in Kennesaw, GA. The Planning and Landscape Architecture group, within a multi-disciplined, integrated, international consulting firm, specializes in a wide range of services including: parks and recreation design and master planning; trail/greenway design; city/county comprehensive planning; citizen participation; redevelopment land planning; streetscape/urban design; military planning; historic preservation; sustainable design/green infrastructure; and cemetery design and master planning Candidates must be licensed as a Landscape Architect (AICP is also a plus), have 10+ years of experience and have a body of completed work that indicates a high level of expertise in all aspects of planning and design processes. In addition, the candidate should have experience in all phases of project management including proposal writing, scheduling, budget management, and construction administration. Applicant should be able to work closely with other design professionals.
Skills / Qualifications •Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Landscape Architecture; A terminal degree in a related field a plus•10+ years of related work experience•Must be licensed as a Landscape Architect (AICP a plus)•Ability to lead multiple projects in various stages of development simultaneously and work cooperatively with the Principal and team to ensure planning and design integrity•Communicate with and coordinate the efforts of project team members, clients, consultants, contractors and agency officials•Strong leadership and communication skills are essential to success in this position•Strong computer skills a plus including but not limited to AutoCAD, Sketch-up, Adobe Suite, MS Suite, GISDiversity Statement We are an equal opportunity employer that recognises the value of a diverse workforce.
