RSG is seeking an experienced project manager to join our transportation survey research consulting practice. This position will be based in our Arlington, VA office or in another existing RSG office.
You conduct travel behavior research through household travel studies for metropolitan planning organizations, state departments of transportation and the U.S. Department of Transportation. You lead the management, design, administration, and analysis of travel surveys across a variety of topics and methods, including household travel studies, longitudinal panel surveys, long-distance travel, and non-motorized travel. You are proficient in data management and analysis. As a part of a growing team that is developing market changing approaches, you develop and implement innovative approaches to travel behavior research in partnership with RSG’s model development and software engineering teams.
You are a self-motivated team player with practical skills in project management, research design, sampling and data collection approaches. You work productively with clients and possess good interpersonal skills to represent the company. You communicate complex technical materials in concise and meaningful ways to project team members and clients. You are a resourceful, proactive, clear and creative thinker, dedicated to high quality work.
