The Chief Engineering Technician position is responsible for the coordination and management of the Revocable Permit Program and associated maintenance agreements, review of developer submitted site-plans along with internal coordination with the Planning and Development Department in review of re-zoning applications, abandonments, annexations, right-of-way dedications, and street improvement requirements to ensure adherence to city codes and ordinances. Other responsibilities include participation in pre-design phases of Capital Improvement Program and multi-modal transportation efforts, assisting on the Complete Streets program, providing customer service for citizen and developer requests, and multi-discipline coordination. Currently there is one vacancy in the Street Transportation Department’s Transportation Planning and Programming Division.
