The successful candidate for the Development Review Coordinator will be an engineer with an aptitude for collaborating on development issues. They will appreciate challenge and variety in their work, and possess the ability to work effectively in both the civil engineering field and in the planning and development community. This position will be responsible for coordinating the multi-faceted engineering review and permitting of land use and development proposals that impact the transportation network. This engineer will excel at coordinating engineering issues and concerns with land use applications, engineering plan reviews, permits, and construction of infrastructure improvements. They will collaborate extensively with citizens, engineers, architects, and developers, as well as with staff in other disciplines and other agencies, to solve development issues in a professional and expeditious manner. An Oregon Professional Engineering License is not required but is preferred.
