I would like to inform you about a new, upcoming Postdoctoral Research position we have opening in our Laboratory. A quick overview of the position has been provided below.
Organization: UCLA Department of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences and UCLA Department of Neurosurgery
The Suthana laboratory has a novel research program to study human spatial navigation and memory in a unique setting with the ability to record intracranial EEG (iEEG) in mobile human patients with epilepsy using combined immersive virtual reality and full body motion capture. Human single-unit, local field potential (LFP), and iEEG data can also be recorded in the human medial temporal lobe and other cortical regions, as well as the ability to employ Deep Brain Stimulation in awake, conscious patients implanted with intracranial electrodes for clinical purposes. The lab also uses fMRI and TMS to study non-invasive methods for investigating and improving learning, memory, and spatial navigation.
The Laboratory is seeking full-time postdoctoral researchers in human intracranial electrophysiology (single-unit and LFP) of spatial navigation and memory. The candidate will join existing studies and develop a new project investigating the neural basis of human learning and memory.
Application Instructions: Those interested should e-mail their CV and list of 3 references with contact information to email@example.com
Closing Date: Until position is filled
