The City of Albert Lea is seeking a Civil/Environmental Engineer who desires the challenge and experience of designing a wide range of municipal improvements including streets, sanitary sewers, water main, storm sewers, wastewater and water treatment plant improvement projects, and other public improvement projects. Responsible for directing the City’s demolition landfill, transfer station and compost site, directing the industrial wastewater pretreatment program, and working with state and local governments on environmental issues.
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited 4-year Engineering college/university is required. Professional Engineer preferred, but Fundamentals of Engineering with the ability to be registered in the future will be considered.
The salary range is $47,715.20 to $79,019.20 depending on qualifications.
